This blog is about Ryan Conklin from MTV's The Real World Brooklyn. It's a site for fans, created by a fan. It contains clips from "The Real World Dailies" plus other public videos, stories, information and subjects connected with or referred to in the show or its aftermath (e.g. the book An Angel From Hell, the MTV special Return to Duty, public appearances, relationship with cast members, etc.). There is no affiliation between this blog and the Ryan Conklin who appeared on the show.Ryan Conklin, arguably best known for being in the cast of The Real World Brooklyn, appeared in several of the most memorable scenes of the show:
- In the most emotional scene of the season, Ryan cried and was comforted by fellow cast member Scott Herman after Ryan learned he would have to fulfill his agreed-to obligation to the Army by returning to active duty.
- After cast member JD Ordonez had played a prank on Ryan by spraying shaving cream on him while he was asleep, Ryan confronted JD, screaming at him to the point of crying. The roommates were puzzled by the outburst and Scott conjectured that perhaps Ryan's reaction was due to being woken up by bombs in Iraq.
- While visiting a gay bar in Manhattan, Ryan agreed to kiss a drag queen, but when the performer gave him a quick kiss on the lips, Ryan freaked out in the bar and washed his mouth with soap (to wash off the gayness?).
