Here is some Ryan Conklin trivia for you. In Ryan's audition video for The Real World, Ryan appears before a barn and says that he used to play in it when he was young, and that he received his first and second kiss (on the same day) in that barn. Well, that barn is on the grounds of the bed and breakfast that the Conklin family bought and operated when Ryan's parents moved from Michigan to Gettysburg in 1996. The b&b was called the Mulberry Farm Inn, and was located at the corner of Flohrs Church Road and Old Route 30, in the Cashtown/McKnightstown area outside of Gettysburg. In the book Bernice Chesler's Bed & Breakfast in the Mid-Atlantic States, it is stated that the family lived on the property.
The Conklins no longer own it or live there, so it's past history.
Diagonally across the street from the b&b is the Flohr's Cemetery that Ryan also showed in his video, the one he said was his playground as a youngster.
