One time during The Real World Brooklyn, Ryan Conklin went out on the town with his fellow cast members Scott Herman and Chet Cannon. As one possibility for what they might do that evening, Ryan had the idea that it might be funny to take virginal, repressed Chet to a strip club just to see Chet's reactions to viewing naughty women undressed. First Ryan asked Chet if Chet's Mormom religion forbade him from going to such a place. Chet said it didn't, so Ryan asked if he would be willing to go. This question caused Chet to backtrack. He said there was no doctrine that stated "Thou shalt not go to strip clubs," but that he wouldn't go because immoral thoughts lead to "action".
Then Chet turned the tables and asked Ryan if he went to strip clubs. Ryan emphatically and with disgust said, "NO!" Ryan confessed that if he went to a nudie bar that had bare women, the only thing he would be interested in seeing is Chet's unbridled response to the visual stimuli. The response of course would probably be the kind of thing that would make you not want to be standing in front of Chet too closely when the trigger was tripped on his torpid tuber.
Realizing he wasn't going to get the opportunity to have a hearty laugh at Chet's expense, the disappointed Ryan literally waved away the idea and showed he was done with it. Chet continued to talk down the thought of it by asking Ryan if he was aware of the kind of "nasty" people that went to strip clubs. Without thinking, Ryan immediately responded, "Yes!" Understanding how that sounded, Ryan then said that he only had been told of nasty people going there.
Sounds like Ryan has been at least once, but doesn't plan to revisit.
Also, the video of Ryan during this scene shows that Chet's earlier assessment that Ryan hangs left is not correct.
