Ryan laughs and laughs.
In confessional, Ryan tells the story of this event. He enjoys telling it almost as much as he did witnessing it. The interesting thing about this is that Ryan shows some inherent ability for two forms of entertainment. One is that he has a raw talent for setting up a story in preparation for the funny parts. This would serve him well as a comedian. This particular story didn't have a punch line, but it did give him a change to practice setup.
The other ability that Ryan shows is his acting skill. When telling the bug story, Ryan actually refers to putting on his acting face as he begins the caper. He knows he can control his expressions in a way to make others believe he is feeling whatever he wants them to.
Anyone that has observed Ryan has seen how many different faces and expressions he can display. He's a natural actor. He gets a lot of practice playing one of the most complicated roles imaginable: the almost unknowable real-life Ryan Conklin. Compared to that, any other roles on stage or screen should be a snap.
